Dr. Ahmed Hassan is an eye specialist with 15 years experience as an Ophthalmology Consultant at Monash Medical Centre, serving the community of South Eastern Melbourne.

With excellent communication skills, Dr. Hassan provides clear explanations to every patient and practises with genuine empathy.

Dr Hassan has broad experience in Cataract surgery, Glaucoma, Diabetes,  General & Paediatric Ophthalmology.

A lecturer in Ophthalmology at Monash University Medical School, Dr Hassan trains RANZCO surgical trainees at Monash Health, where he is a visiting Consultant.

Dr Hassan attended Balwyn High (Dux), and graduated in Medicine (MBBS) from the University of Melbourne with Honours. He was admitted as Fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO) in 2005.
