You will first see an orthoptist, who will perform a number of diagnostic tests, before seeing the doctor.

Dilating drops may be used to dilate your pupils for examination of the eye. These can blur the vision for a few hours, so an additional driver is recommended.

Please allow up to 1.5  hours for the visit, and bring with you:

• Any glasses currently used for vision
• A valid referral from your optometrist or doctor
• Any eyedrops currently used, a list of your medications
