Dr. Mark F. McCombe is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and retinal specialist in the Vitreoretinal Surgical and Medical Retinal clinics at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
He has specialist expertise in treating Macular Degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vein occlusions,and other retinal disorders. This is done using Laser and via Intravitreal injections such as Lucentis or Eylea.
Dr McCombe performs retinal and vitrectomy surgery for retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and other vitreoretinal conditions.

Dr. Dina Elsayed
Paediatric Eye Specialist - Strabismus / Cataract Surgeon
Dr. Dina Elsayed MD, PhD, FRANZCO is an experienced ophthalmologist with special interests in Paediatric Ophthalmology, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Cataract surgery. She is currently a consultant in the Ocular Motility Clinic at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
Over the course of her career, Dr Elsayed has developed expertise in complex strabismus surgery, cataract surgery, including paediatric cataract cases, and myopia control. Additionally, she diagnoses and manages a wide range of general eye conditions including, retinal diseases, corneal disease, and neuro-ophthalmology cases.
Dina has a passion for education, having been a specialist lecturer in Paediatric Ophthalmology for over 10 years at Alexandria University, teaching and examining undergraduate and postgraduate students studying Ophthalmology. She then completed the prestigious Ocular Motility Fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in 2016, going on to obtain full RANZCO fellowship.
With a keen interest in research into Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Dina has co-authored several journal articles. Most recently, her research has focused on vertical muscle transpositions. Dr Elsayed strives to provide her patients with the best possible ophthalmic care through her dedication to the profession and personable nature.
